Emily Roberts has played at some of the most prestigious music venues across the UK: the O2 Sheperd's Bush Empire, the O2 Academy Oxford, the Duke of York's Theatre in the West End and the Royal Festival Hall for various commercial bands and artists. She also leads her own eclectic jazz ensemble influenced by Emily Remler, John Scofield and the Brecker Brothers.
Emily grew up in Cheshire and moved to Manchester after she was awarded a place at Chetham's School of Music, where she studied jazz and classical guitar. During this time she was a member of both Chetham's Big Band and the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra. She then accepted a place on the BMus Jazz course at the world renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. After graduating in 2020, she is now completing the Guildhall Artists Fellowship programme and was recently a semi-finalist of BBC Young Jazz Musician 2020.
